About Gavin Campion

Gavin Campion is a startup and turnaround entrepreneur who has made a solid name for himself over the past two decades.

After graduating with a B.A. in Marketing with Honors from from Huddersfield University, Gavin returned to his home in Melbourne, Australia and started his own marketing services firm. A few years later, his business, Reality Group, was attracting top advertising clients such as General Motors, BP, Tabcorp, and Saab. He and his team were so successful, the firm was named Australian Agency of the Year. Gavin moved his focus to the B2B retail industry after selling his firm for a profit a few years later.

Gavin bought two customer loyalty businesses, rebranding one into a very successful SaaS-based e-commerce platform and the other into one of Australia’s biggest online discount systems. After several years, Gavin integrated both firms, acquiring numerous market participants along the way. This resulting company became a force to be reckoned with in the world of incentive marketing.

Gavin founded Sputnik Agency, which specialized in delivering enterprise-level digital marketing projects for some of Australia’s most prominent companies, such as GSK, GoCompare, and Skype. Under his leadership, the company became one of the country’s most notable digital agencies.

His next project was establishing and managing a portfolio of video asset management companies. Gavin was able to acquire and manage several leading providers of these solutions. One of these was Linius, which developed the first video query language. He then took over as the company’s part-time CEO before it floated on the Australian Securities Exchange.

His work has taken him across the world, including the Middle East, Europe, and the U.S . Gavin is based in Melbourne, Australia, and spends most of his free time at home. He’s also an avid gallery investor and art collector.
